so we Know they're recyclable
and/or reusable
and/or reducible
Why not all three?

ReNew
ReGenerate
Useful reUsable things
that reCycle for reducible
Garbage
And it ALL ends up as garbage

within Scope of sight!
Why then do we ignore lives.
If our outstanding product
as a people, is the bottom line
Well, that bottom line is garbage
in a cosmic, line item, balance sheet.
To some, we are what we give
and if we were to disappear tomorrow
what would last after the glaciers glassed
and the heatwaves blasted
for 10,000 years? hmmmm?

Recycleably,
ephermeral things
get loved and lives ignored.
Where is our memory
that this happened before
Wherefore then can we
change the story
of Garbage.

Reusableably
re: USAble ably
puts to use that future
we know awaits
to replace a better outcome,
one with ingenuity and aplumb.

Reducing garbage,
one reduces nonsense...
for what cent resides
in the future,
we can have NOW.
Which is all that makes good
and sensible action worthwhile
for some.
Less labor, less land
less toxic garbage, man.

Why can't we have it all?
Because we threw it away.
Useful reusable nutrients
are our bottom line,
the story of our Garbage
replaces outcomes
in the future.
